Voices of Our Volunteers

Volunteering with the Turkey Trot was incredible. It felt great to push myself while helping raise food for families in our own neighborhood.

James Montgomery, 8th grader

I loved helping seniors with their tech. It was so rewarding to see their faces light up when they finally could video call their family members.

Ema Mitic, HS

The river clean-up really opened my eyes to our environmental impact. Leadership at Youth Team Georgia makes big changes feel possible for us.

John Wise, HS student

Common Questions

Who can volunteer?

We welcome all Georgia teens aged 13-18! Some leadership roles may have specific age requirements, but most events are open to all high schoolers.

Can I get community service hours?

Yes! We keep track of all your hours and provide verified reports that you can use for school, scholarship applications, or college resumes.

Do I need any prior experience?

None at all. We provide all the training and tools you need for each project. All we ask is that you bring your energy and a positive attitude!

Can parents or supporters get involved?

Totally! Parents are welcome as chaperones for events or to help with logistics. Supporters can also contribute by donating to fund our community projects.
