Youth Team Georgia empowers young people to lead through service. We support families, assist seniors, and protect our environment to strengthen our community together.
OUR IMPACT
Turkey Trot /food donations
Youth Team Georgia hosts an annual 4.5-mile Turkey Trot that combines fitness with community service. The event raises awareness about food insecurity and supports the local CAC through food donations. Last year, we collected 475 pounds of food, making a real difference for families in our community.
Chattahoochee River Clean-Up Initiative
Youth Team Georgia is committed to protecting our environment through hands-on community action.
Our Chattahoochee River Clean-Up Initiative brings together teen volunteers to remove trash, protect wildlife, and preserve one of Georgia’s most important natural resources.
Through this program, students learn environmental responsibility while making a visible impact in their community.
Visual Storytelling
Our young volunteers help seniors stay connected with the people they care about using smartphones, voice commands, and simple texting—without the strain of typing.

Our Story
Youth Team Georgia began with a simple challenge—finding meaningful volunteer opportunities where young people could give back, earn service hours, and still connect with their peers.
After trying to get involved with other organizations, we found that many opportunities were complicated, limited, or not always welcoming to all youth.
We recognized the need for something different—something more accessible, supportive, and truly built for young people.
That’s why we created Youth Team Georgia: a place where youth can serve their community, learn together, and feel a sense of belonging while making a real impact today.
